ANNUAL SASSETA ROADSHOWS WRAPPING UP

The annual SASSETA roadshows conducted in February and March were well received by SASSETA partners including Employers and Training Service providers.

The focus of the roadshows was to promote better understanding of the Mandatory Grant process and feedback from those Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs) in attendance was extremely positive.

“The process is so much clearer to me now” said Mrs Ncgobo of Roadshow Attorneys.

SPEAK OUT - TUNE IN XX MARCH

We invite all stakeholders to tune in to the broadcast of Speak Out on SAfm scheduled for XX March. <XXXX name of interviewee> of SASSETA speaks frankly to <XXX SAfmpresenter name> about the the unfortunate learner who registered for a training course with a training provider who did not have the relevant unit standard registered with SASSETA. Although, with SASSETA’s intervention, the student received a refund and a bursary from SASSETA for further study, he has effectively delayed his career development by two years.

SASSETA cannot stress enough to learners the importance of doing your homework well before signing up for any course of study. And Training Providers, please ensure that all your Unit Standards are correctly registered with SASSETA.
